To frame or not | Art Prints in your home.

Traditionally when we think of framing our Art Prints we think of a picture frame, usually wooden with glass front. However in recent times we have seen big shifts with changing trends and now displaying Prints in our homes has become more creative and fun.

Redecorating a room as the seasons change is common practice now so we don't always spend as much on Prints, although purchasing investment pieces is always rewarding. But with online shopping booming there is so much more at our fingertips now, it's even easier to pick up beautiful Prints or purchase digital files and print them ourselves.

We are HUGE fans of "Printables". These are Art Prints commonly found on places like Etsy, where you purchase the digital file off the seller, they send you a download link, and you save and print your chosen Print. Our recent purchases have been from Solstice Studio Prints and Boho Printables Co, and other favourite sellers of printable art are The Crown PrintsPrints Project. We print ours at different places depending on the size and finish we are after, but mainly use ColorMania or Warehouse Stationery

Some of the talented Kiwi artists I have purchased affordable Art Prints for my home from are Maiko Nagao, Ema FrostKeren Elise Creative, Sweet Petite, and Design by Morris and Co.

Our Print Hangers are a great alternative to using Frames. We have the screw-thru type or the Anti-damage type which use magnets. These make swapping out Prints super fast and easy. You can hang these from anything, but they look great paired with one of our Natural or Dipped Wooden Handles.

Another personal favourite of ours is our Clipboards. These look great on their own or in a group, on a shelf or hanging on the wall. They are great for Newsletters, Meal planners, Calendars and so much more. Check out Lilybug Design for some great organisational printables like we just mentioned. Creating a feature with Clipboards is fun, and they come in both A4 and A5 size, and Pointed, Portrait and Landscape.

If you are using frames, don't forget they don't always need to be hung on the wall. A single frame on a shelf, or even a cluster of them, can create just as much if not more impact.
